About me

I go by the name Ashish kumar

A computer science student in India, at the age of 21, determined to show that you *don’t* have to give up travel for a job in technology.

I spend my days deep inside my B.Tech books, but when I’m done? I’m trying to find ways to turn my programming skills into an adventure ticket..

Why This Blog Exists

A year ago, I realized something: tech is the ultimate freedom ticket.

- 💻 You can code from a cafe in Goa or debug algorithms while camping in the Himalayas.

- 🌍 You don’t need a fancy job title to fund your travels—just smart skills and hustle.

But when I searched for guidance, most travel blogs were written by people who’d already been everywhere. Where were the stories about starting from scratch?

So I decided to document my own journey:

1. Learning in Public: Sharing the tools, internships, and side hustles I’m using to fund future travels.

2. Local Adventures: Exploring India on a student budget (think ₹500/day trips to [nearby hill station/city]).

3. Community First: Building a space for Indian students who dream of coding from coffee shops in Europe or beaches in Bali.

What You’ll Find Here

- 🛠️ Tech Guides: Remote work skills, freelancing tips, and tools I’m testing (Python scripts to automate savings, anyone?).

- 🗺️ Travel Prep: How I’m planning post-B.Tech trips, visa hacks, and budget itineraries.

- 🧠 Student Life: Balancing exams with wanderlust, cheap gadgets for nomads, and interviews with seniors who’ve cracked the code.

Random Fun Facts

- 🌱 Current Obsession: Using AI to plan imaginary trips to Ladakh (ChatGPT is my co-pilot).

Final Note

This blog isn’t about fancy resorts or “quit your job” advice. It’s about starting small, staying curious, and coding your way to freedom.
